Blue Sage is a midwest to western occurring perennial Salvia owning one of the most vibrant blue blooms occurring naturally in the landscape. It blooms in August-September, is best grown as a tall foreground plant that is allowed to lean forward while in bloom, as is pictured. Bumble bee favorite, that will attract an occasional humming bird as well. Extremely drought tolerant, but needs full-sun. Plant in masses of 5 at least, don't isolate it.
